About our breads

When I started the bakery, my mission was always to showcase the flavors of all the wonderful grains grown in the Northeast as much as I could. As such, there is no “white flour” in any of our sourdoughs (or the Rustica). They are made entirely with wheat, spelt, rye, barley, einkorn, and corn grown here in the northeast and freshly stone milled by the folks at Ground Up Grain in Holyoke or Farmer Ground Flour in Trumansburg, NY.

Florence Wednesday Farmers Market

Little Bear Bread can be found every Wednesday from 2-6 PM at the Florence, MA Wednesday Farmers market (May 1st-Oct 30th). Below you’ll find our menu for next Wednesday (10/16). Place your orders by Tuesday night, then pick it up any time between 2 and 6pm at the Florence Farmers Market. Please note, we’re not allowed to stay late, so please arrive on time.
